Fight Like a Pro is a thriving Gold Coast boxing gym in Varsity Lakes.
It was founded by Gavin and Michelle Topp and is the culmination of Gavin's boxing career and their passion to see men rise up and be all that they are called to be. For Men to operate in their full capacity and be the best sons, fathers, grandfathers, husbands, brothers, uncles, grandsons, and leaders in our community.
Gavin Topp had 19 amateur fights before turning professional where he reached his goal of fighting for the Australian Title in the Junior middleweight division. After successfully defending his title in 2000 he retired and set up the gym. In 2005 he made a come back and after fighting five international opponents he was given the opportunity to fight Felix Sturm in Germany, for a World Title Eliminator and was ranked 12th in the world.
This gold coast boxing gym was originally opened as Elevate Fitness over 9 years ago and was very broad in what it offered, from group training, strength training, to boxing classes for Men, Women and children. Gavin has also worked with schools such as PBC, Elanora High, and Kings Christian College .
It has evolved over that time to be a place predominantly for males that specialises in developing and strengthening mens character physically and mentally using boxing as it’s medium. The gym has amateur boxers, men’s boxing classes and it’s signature program Fight Like a Pro which is in it’s 10th season.
It is now home to a range of fitness professionals, a place where all people are welcome that have a desire to go to the next level.
